The trio of sausage tasting platter tasted bland there was nothing special about the sausages tasted like regular supermarket hotdogs the garlic bread was cold like a stale rock The chicken schnitzel was horrible was only just cooked and was flavour less , was stacked on a bed of cold soggy chips that tasted like old tyres , not even cooked thru completely inedible The veal schnitzel was over cooked but somehow still cold , didn’t even come with a side of chips came with a flavourless potato salad that was apparently German but tasted like it came from the local iga supermarket If you want a authentic German meal this isn’t the place just a fancy German worded menu with overpriced regular pub fare you could get anywhere and probably still be better but $87 for two snits, two Pepsi’s, and basically a quarter of three different sausages Could of got a better meal at maccas for quarter of the price and been satisfied

German style beer house and restaurant located in the main street of Hahndorf, SA. The atmosphere fits with that of a themed small town hotel. The extensive menu also has a distinct German flavour with something to suite most tastes. Definately worth a visit even if it's only for a stein of German beer or a glass of riesling.

I ate so much I nearly died! Ha! Awesome place, food is great. You won't go hungry!

Excellent food with big servings. Totally worth it. Highly recommended

The staff were excellent in communicating the substitutions for the feast. The servings were more than enough, and we struggled to finish everything. Will dine again.
