Hi Chelsea, A huge thank you to you and your team for helping to make our April wedding so awesome 🤍 The Vaudeville Room & Landing looked spectacular, the food was delicious, the drinks flowing and we had an absolute blast from beginning to end 😊 The young lady on the bar was a m a z i n g! Everyone fell in love with her beautiful, friendly manner as she made each of us feel that we were her special individual guest of the night - such a talent! Please pass on our combined admiration to her. You were completely fabulous too - friendly and so extremely efficient and discreet that everything we needed was where we needed it at exactly the right moment! We had the best time ever! Great wedding venue

We came late lunch on Anzac Day, walked in and it was so packed! Team was very busy, and quite understaffed for the amount of people. They however did their best to accomodate, and remained calm and friendly. Despite the amount of orders the meal we received was well made and delicious. I hope management can improve staffing and flow management to avoid being overwhelmed. But given the chaos they did a great job and we will be back again!

Fantastic team here looked after a big wedding reception flawlessly well. Interesting building in a great location too.

Great place to sit with friends and relax. Refurb is impressive

Came at lunch time which wasn't too busy. Beautifully restored building with some great original touches. Staff were friendly enough and food was prompt (perhaps too prompt, so suspect much of the food is pre-cooked?) All together our table had the Parmi, which was good but a bit much and stopped being good after a while, the chicken burger which was a bit home-made tasting for my liking but hubby absolutely loved it, and the wellington, which was apparently good but was a bit lite on mushrooms and had too much douey pastry inside. The chips could use a little more flavour but were ok. Overall the food was good enough to have an enjoyable experience at this venue, but room for improvement.

Been here twice, first with my colleagues for team lunch and then the 2nd time with my family for the Easter and I enjoyed both visits. I find the food was decent and delicious. Service was great and the 'hotel' (or not Lol) has a very good vibe and atmosphere. For my team lunch, I had fish and chips and shared the mac&cheese croquettes with one colleague. The f&c was nice and good portion and the croquettes...mmm just delish!!! I love croquettes so I'm probably a bit biased 😉 All my other colleagues' food also looked decent and they seemed to enjoy the food. For my family lunch, we actually struggled to find a place to eat during the Easter period because everywhere else was so packed or closed and we just finished playing supagolf and were feeling extremely HANGRY! 😁😁 and we're so pleased when we found out that The Guildford Hotel was open AND they also had Easter bunny! The place was also packed but they had extra seatings upstairs and we didn't wait too long for the food. I had fish and chips again and as most of us cos again, we're feeling HANGRY so we just wanted sth easy. One of us had the smoked pork ribs and WOW...it looked AMAZING!!! Instantly I regretted not looking at the menu properly cos otherwise I'd have ordered it! ☹️ I did try a bit and the smokiness was beautiful! Ah well next time for sure. We also ordered one of the special 18+ only Easter tiramisu. Again I tried one scoop and I liked it. I didn't mind the raisins, but my relative said it's weird to have raisins in tiramisu 😁 but it's not a disaster, they still enjoyed it. So overall this is a great place to eat. Btw I thought it's still a hotel, but it's not!!! Lol

Beautiful place, delicious food, the squid rings are missing something... And the backless benches are uncomfortable. Lots of flies.
