The Glen Hotel

The Glen hotel & Suites was the location for a family event. The staff were super helpful and accommodating. The menu of Beef or Chicken was good with the steak being perfectly cooked and served hot. The accompanying hotel has all your expected basic facilities but also boasts a pool and gym. Overall I can highly recommend The Glen Hotel.

Only saw a bit of it - lovely atmosphere and great historic pics of the area in years gone by. As the signs say, they've been serving icy cold beer since 1863! I couldn't see if anything original remains, but really had a good vibe.

Family friendly, menu is consistent in execution.

From the minute you walk through the doors, the hospitality and service is warm, friendly and attentive making you feel right at home. Room was gorgeous, with a special touch for our birthday celebration. Enjoyed late lunch and more fabulous hospitality at dinner with a stop off at the well equipped spa inbetween. The owner is a breath of fresh air with his warm hearty laugh and attention to detail. The staff are like one happy family and you are made to feel comfy and welcome from the beginning of your stay till the very last. Can't wait to return!

Great place for brekky with the family on a Sunday. The ham and cheese croissant, bacon and egg roll, kids pancakes and donuts were all delicious. The kids had fun in the playground next to the deck while adults enjoyed a coffee and chat. Open from 6:30am and kids eat free on Sundays.

The venue itself is very well laid out. Didn't really have much time to explore the place a bit more but the service the quick and the food was tasty as expected. Good parking space, welcoming sitting area and a little playground for the kids..

Had high hopes with the reviews provided but boy were we disappointed! We had made a reservation for a large group for a special occasion. We had arrived to then be told someone was at our table so had to wait for it to be available.. to later find out that we only had one table for us to gather around as they had seated other guests at the other tables that were supposed to be reserved. As more of us arrived they added an extra little table as we couldn't physically fit on the one provided. Luckily for us the amount of people we originally booked for didn't all show, so after the additional table it was bearable. The online ordering system is so flawed. The idea behind the QR code is cute and most meals arrived however a couple were marked as delivered to table but never made it to the table, leaving some of us to eat after others had. When some ordered drinks they had a staff member come over and double check our table to see if it were delivered. Staff didn't seem to care, weren't apologetic or quick to deal with any situation we faced. Not sure if this is due to the lack of training or experience but enthusiasm and empathy would have put light on the situation. In the end the food tasted pretty good, however since eating a number of our group have spent the remaining of the evening in the bathroom. I hope to think this isn't an experience anyone else has been through. I personally don't recommend this venue for large events, especially special ones as it was most unorganised. I hope this feedback inspires you to be better!

Great venue and the pub's food and beverage facilities are extensive. Great food, lot's of choice to cater for everyone, groups, families or with mates. Excellent range of draft and bottled beers and good wine list. Nice atmosphere, although worth booking ahead as it gets busy.

Nice pizza oven set-up....wood fired located within the hotel, lots of staff and security.
