Wow, was refereed by friends. Fish is unlike any fish we have had. previously, gigantic piece of crumbed snapper, crisp and lightly battered potato cakes, well priced and staff were absolutely lovely. We dropped in on a Friday night and it was packed, the staff worked well together like a production line in an old factory, was really fun to watch. Highly recommend

If you like your pizza and burgers old school this is the place. The pizzas are actually heavy in the box due to the thick layer of toppings and the burgers are on a large bun with ‘the lot’ just like the ones from my youth. Has a loyal local following.

Best fish & chips in Canberra.

Pretty impressed. We went last Friday for the first time, line up was out the door, was busy so wasnt expecting the quality to be that great but was pleasantly surprised. We had fish, 2 burgers, potato scallops, chips and was really good, the bread was soft, chips and scallops crisp, fish lovely. Will be back for a monthly treat.

This place is crazy busy on Fridays. I couldn't believe how many people were there lining up and waiting. I was expecting a long wait but to be honest, considering how busy it was and the fact waiting around always seems longer then it is, I was really impressed. Quality of the food was exceptional. Our fish was done perfectly. Thank you

Finally we found the ultimate old school takeaway. The smells alone in this shop bring back memories from my youth. Service is great. Pizza was fan bloody tastic..

Really good spot this. I couldn't believe how clean this shop was. Nice welcoming host. Gluten free option was helpful. Lovely fish and chips. Better then the Bay thats for sure. Recommend. Had a burger dine in. Very impressed. Almost to big for me.
