What a wonderful find! On a sunny but cold morning we could only get a table outside but a lovely waitress moved us inside before we had even ordered. Will definitely be back. Ps breakfast burger, corn fritters & coffees were all very good
Corn fritters are one of my favourite brunch items, but Iām often disappointed by limp, lifeless fritters. Not at the Cove though! Their Corn & Mint Fritters are crispy, full of flavour and the bacon, avocado, beetroot hummus and poached egg flavour combo with them was spot on. My first latte was perfect, so I ordered a second one after my meal and it was way too hot and clearly burnt. Cool vibe at the cafe and friendly service. A great local.
Delicious carrot cake and cold drip coffee! Ive been back several times for these 2 items alone! Good vibe in heritage listed building...
Pleasant and quaint, but a little understaffed.
Lovely setting to enjoy lunch especially on the verandah on a sunny afternoon. In can't get past the trout with chat potatoes, absolutely delicious!! The service is great, prices mid range I guess. I have been there a number of times, lovely place to take someone for lunch for special occasion which I've done a few times. Friends have never been disappointed but then I was paying :) Coffee is good, decent size too. My only gripe is the menu never seems to change, hence one star less in my review. They do have specials but not many.
Nice outdoor spots to go walking. Plenty of dining room. The shoestring fries were nice. However, the burgers were a bit small and service was slow.
Nice place and food menu. Campos coffee. Pricey for breakfast. My 3rd time here, decided to try the waffles special $18. Venue is quite cold inside so take a jacket.
The building is nice with a pleasant backyard and terrace, but food and service average. 2 slices of roasted tomato cost $4 šš
Food well-presented. Good signage. Staff attentive.
The cafe owner/manager is outstandingly rude, has an attitude problem. Not sure why someone would work in hospitality if they have zero people skills.
