The Collective

I have been to the collective.many times. We used to live in the same street, but may have taken it for granted. It was great to return today and it's only improved, great service and good atmosphere. Food was great we went for some small share plates for a light lunch. Spicy buffo wings where great. And the brisket nachos where some of the best nachos I have had in a long time. We finished off with the lamb hanging souvlaki, the meat was so delicious and tender. The hand cut chips where crispy on the outside and fluffy and soft on the inside. I am really happy coming to the collective is just as good if not better then it was on the day it opened.

Love love love this place. I have started making my way through the cocktail list and everyone one not only tastes good but is photo worthy 📸 Lots of food choices as it’s a collective of several independent food vendors from different regions as well as your favourites which you order from the table and can pay for separately rather than 1 bill. Drinks also are ordered from the iPad at the table which means no standing in line up at the bar. Never had a bad meal from here - always quick with the meals arriving at the table and very tasty. Cute fairly lights and garden type atmosphere.

Two level establishment, offering food from, I think, 5 different restaurants. Great selection, Asian, etc. We got a table upstairs, which has a nice airy vibe, local views, and central bar area. I think this is the place to sit. Waitress service was attentive, friendly, and excellent. Definitely recommend this spot for food and drinks.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere and all the different menu's you can choose from, definitely will go again next time at Gold Coast.

Food was good although service was terrible. Note to the bar staff and Jodie? maybe don’t talk about customers when they are in your view👍🏼

Absolutely amazing! The concept is something we haven’t seen before and the food was exceptional. Not to mention all the staff we encountered were delightful and informative. Thank you!

Amazing place. Service was efficient, food was fast! Price point was great. I think it’s a clever joint bringing all the food truck type of foods together in one place. I specially enjoyed not having to wait for the waiter to order and do everything directly through the iPad and it’s also split bill friendly. I recommend this place and would go again.

I usually do not write reviews but I feel as though I need to share my experience. I sat upstairs with my partner and our two friends for lunch, they warned us we only had 45 minutes to eat before a private function upstairs. That was okay. So we signed in and then as we were walking to our table we had the server mention that we now only have 40 minutes so "chop chop". I was in the middle of eating my meal when we were then approached to say can we move downstairs as our time was up. I quickly finished my meal and then we sat downstairs. We ordered a few cocktails and AGAIN we were approached by a server to tell us to move tables as a "group" was arriving to sit at our table. There was plenty of other vacant tables so It would seem that we got our food so they wanted us to hurry up and leave to make room for other people to spend more money. Mind you we were happy to sit there for the afternoon and spend money on drinks. We decided to leave rather than moving tables AGAIN. This was not an enjoyable lunch experience. We live locally and have loved the food here but after this experience unfortunately we will all not be returning.

Absolutely loved this place! Came on a cold rainy Sunday and the atmosphere was fantastic. There was a DJ, great service, great food and a great vibe.
