Nice food big servings

It's my birthday and I chose to come to the coffee club for a birthday breaky as it's usually great. However had a terrible experience at this location today. Been to heaps of Coffee Clubs around the country, New Zealand and Thailand but this one was the worst. The cafe was only half full when we arrived yet it took 40 mins before we got our food, to the point we were ready to ask for a refund and leave. We had to go double check after 30mins and they hadn't forgotten our order (eggs Benedict)..as In the time we were sat waiting a lady who arrived after us sat down at the table next to us, got her food, finished and left before we even got any sign of ours. When we checked we were told 2 mins, they hadn't started it. How long does it take to poach a couple of eggs?? To add insult to injury, just as were about to walk out our food arrived and the poached eggs were overcooked, i.e hardboiled!!! . . The waitress was extremely apologetic, but that doesn't change what happened. Then a male waiter came around and asked how everything was and we were honest and said very disappointed. He apologized but we're not offered any consolation to try to mend customer relations.

The empty table we sat on was not cleaned and we had to ask sevaral times for the staff to do it. We had asked for some water and the same thing had happened. When the cutlery were given to us, it was just placed on top of the cashier counter with out any napkins to prevent it from touching the bench top. We were polite and nice when we ask for thier service but they had not provided the best service at all that day. Please note that it was not busy during our time in the restaurant.

Amazing food great coffee, in the perfect location. Service is great. I recommend the breakfast bowl with bacon.

Disgusting customer service, employees are constantly rude and obnoxious. They refuse to believe anything they do isn’t perfect, messed up my order and refused to do anything about it!

Just popped in for a quick coffee and a smoothie, the coffee was great not to strong. Smoothie was pretty good, asked for a Mango Smoothie but they only do a Mango passion fruit. Staff could be a bit more accommodating, overall service was good. A nice cafe near the waterfront, watched the sunrise from outside, great atmosphere and a great cafe. I Would recommend you pop in, great for a quick coffee or anything from breakfast to lunch.

Got an order wrong and refused to accept there mistake and even refused to check the receipt, over all horrible customer service is one of the worst cafes in darwin it only busy cause they are a big company.
