More beers on tap than you can poke a pint at. Excellent vegan/vego meals. Genuine staff. Hand made gnocchi is damb good. Great pub atmosphere.

One of the best "locals" in Melbourne. Warm, inviting, great range of beer, plenty of table space, crackling fireplaces in winter & a great crew keeping things running smoothly.

The first thing you see is three fireplaces going, and large stacks of red gum firewood, this is a very cosy pub. The recent renovations are terrific, accents of timber and that beautiful Melbourne red brick. The menu is interesting, we had the Sweet Potato Steak, it was charred perfectly and the underlying tahini and pomegranate sauce was excellent. The rice salad was generous, but not so interesting. A great range of craft beers, wine from kegs (seems to be more common now), the water suffered"fridge taint" (sorry, I'm pretty fussy). Staff were plentiful, very friendly and helpful, letting us taste three wines before deciding. A very enjoyable experience.

My local and absolutely stoked to have it so. The food here is great, their beer selection is awesome and constantly rotating plus you're greeted by a bunch of legends every time you come in. Really like the guys here. A fantastic pub, with heaps of charm and an awesome atmosphere

Taco Tuesday is great! Super yum and filling tacos for $4.50! Nice pina colada as well
