The British Hotel Port Adelaide

The staff were fantastic, very helpful and welcoming. There was almost no wait time for food either even though they were busy. Everyone's food was great, only negative, my burger bun was completely dry, no butter or sauce at all. Otherwise a good meal.

British Hotel has a lot of local artist paintings on the walls for sale. You can also see dolphins near by. The food is decent for the price and the service is good. Have been multiple times now and it is consistent.

I met my best friend here 3 years ago. I never forgot the ambience the British Hotel offered. Rustic yet a touch of modern. Yesterday I had my 57th birthday there and the chicken schnitzel I had was delicious. There are sofas to sit on for a cosy get together. There are 2 levels for meals. Downstairs is the cellar section. After our lunch we moved to outdoor seating for our drinks as this enabled us to sit with my sisters dogs who are adorable border collies. A lovely setting with the view down the street of historic Port Adelaide. Good carparking. Lovely walks can lead you around Historic Port Adelaide. Go for a walk along the Wharf. The British Hotel is on the Port Adelaide side of Birkenhead Bridge.
