The Boathouse Palm Beach

Food is always enjoyable & good quality, service fast and fuss free and you can't beat this location /view. Saturdays are just SO busy and I found it to be super cramped and loud inside next to the busy kitchen.. you should offer takeaway for meals like fish and chips - I would much rather eat this out on the grass at the beach than inside in the chaos.

Love the coastal living set up. A fair bit of drive from.the city but it is definitely worth it. Might get pretty busy especially during the weekends.

With a location like this, it would be easy to just dish out average fare... But the Boathouse tries to do better with a varied menu that is well executed, especially considering how busy it gets. You can't go past fish and chips or the grilled barra. The servings are huge so consider sharing your mains if you're going to get other courses.

If you visit the boathouse on a beaultiful summer day like I did, you will probably rate the place 5 stars as well, even though the menu is limited, the price is salty, and there is always a long line to order food....BTW, what the hell is this thing in NSW where you need to order your food in the bar ??? What happened with the good old table service???.....back to the review: I recomend a meal at the boathouse.

We had a fabulous filling brunch and great service as we caught up with friends from the Central Coast who arrived by ferry. The location is one of the icons of the northen beaches area, maybe even Sydney. Blessed with great views and weather this was a wonderful experience.

Pretty good quality and taste, a bit pricy, but overall is beyond expectations. Recommended.

Location was aesthetically pleasing. Nothing it more enjoyable than having a good portion serving of fish and chips while enjoying a nice cool breeze. Fish and Chips: $$$, but real delicious and good size
