Easily the best Thai restaurant around. Food is always top quality, service is fast and efficient. Dishes are well priced and well worth the cost.

Amazing food and restaurant atmosphere! Our food came in a flash and the staff were all super friendly. The gift shop is also a nice feature and if you pay in cash you get gift certificates to purchase some souvenirs before you go (they have the cutest elephant essence holders :). This place truly deserves their title of best Thai resturant in Sydney.

Beautiful time spent having diner at Thai Pothong in Newtown. Incredibly nice , accommodating and welcoming staff, very good food (you can not get it wrong with Duck or Lamb curry) and just a very pleasant overall experience. Icecream and a nice gift for my girlfriend's birthday, very good food, nice place, reasonably priced, great experience! Thank you Thai Pothong and thank you to the staff members that contributed greatly to a great evening

Quite ok, but not sure if it’s worth the long queue. Will give it a 3 for now until experience anything extraordinary.

Great food & excellent service with water topped up, food arriving super quick & a fresh napkin replacement! Had the egg pastry parcels (yum) & chilli prawns (perfect amount of heat) with jasmine rice in our own bucket holder! Always enjoy this place (been at least 3 other times) and will keep going back. Be prepared for a lot of happy birthday songs!

This is a large very popular thai restaurant. The food is good, service is very attentive, lots of tables, good experience all round. Crazy amount of birthdays being celebrated while we were there.
