Thai Garden Restaurant

Looking at previous reviews we were a bit anxious about dining here. However, the food was delicious! Green curry was delicious and the veg all fresh. Was a little quiet and no music but the woman serving us was so sweet!!

Great curry puffs, flavours for mains were delicious. Beans and carrots only veges used. Lacks atmosphere - needs music so you can't hear others eating

Used to come here when I lived around the corner years ago. Moved away and now revisited for take away, forgot how nice it is and really polite staff who even took the time to ask how mild or hot we wanted the food. Thanks :)

This is the worst Thai i have ever eaten. Soggy vegetables and over cooked meat.

A delightfully simple, old school local place (think pink table cloths and paper napkins in fan shapes) with great Thai food, lovely spices, fresh ingredients and good service. Much quieter than the overly busy North Hobart scene just around the corner. Recommended for families - we had a big group - four families and it wasn’t too much trouble. The chicken Larb was amazing, as was a calamari dish.

Get the Thai red curry and curry puffs - you wont get disappointed.

Have been going here for more than 20 years. We come back for the consistently great food and price. Jasmine who runs the restaurant is the nicest person you'll ever meet.

We were very pleased to find that after being closed for some time, this Restaurant has re-opened. Our meals were lovely. Best curry puffs we've ever eaten - main courses all scrumptious. Prices are extremely reasonable and staff cheerful and helpful. Though situated in North Hobart it's not part of the main restaurant strip therefore plenty of easy parking. We do thoroughly recommend Thai Garden.

We had a group of 8 and had a brilliant night - the food was delicious; I had the veg spring rolls and the peanut satay stir fry veg + banana in coconut cream to finish. Do you self a favour and get a desert! YUM!. The service was also lovely! Very friendly and homely. I'll definitely eat here again!

I've eaten a lot of Thai food in my lifetime and this is without a doubt the worst I've ever had. Frozen vegetables in the dishes and pad thai made out of noodles that resemble Singapore noodles. Terrible.
