Very nice table service. Better if you do a reservation. A very very long wine list and expensive. Tapas are very nice. Set menu is a very good option. Few options for vegetarians.

Around $40-50pp for dinner if no drinks. Have been here for many times. Easy to book and dishes are usually quite nice. Plenty choices for no/light alcoholic drinker or stronger preferences. Crowd pleaser. Two stars are taken down due to its mediocre services and inconsistent food quality. Somehow they always tastes different. Except for the cabbage and manchego salad. That never goes wrong.

Haven't had the chance to go for 2 years. Used to love this place... Still do! Food was still as good as it was, staff was friendly, helpful but non intrusive. Had a great time

Friendly service who go that extra mile. Food was delicious. Had a banquet for a large group and there was so much tasty food! Also catered for vegetarians no problem.

I've reviewed a lot of restaurants around the world and only given 5 stars to a few. Basically, it has to absolutely exceptional. All of it. The food, the service, the drinks selection, the seating, the atmosphere, the price point. This place has all of that. If you're reading this and contemplating whether or not you should go, then go! I couldn't recommend tapavino highly enough.

Food quality has dropped . I used to really like this place and always rated it quite high, but very sad to see the food quality has dipped so much . Probably because of Covid . Even service is compromised and mainly because they have one waiter upstairs and one downstairs . It’s hard work for one waiter to manage the entire floor. I was seated above and the waiter was always gone servings one one or bringing something. Not his fault . He did his best but they need to pay for more staff !

Sad to say, a real let down. Service was very unattentive and food was mediocre at best. Had a set menu and we had about 15 courses of prosciutto. Real shame as there is potential for this place to be very good

Description

A celebration of Sherry, Wine, Food, & Friends Influenced by the culture of sip-a-little-bit-of-this-and-eat-a-little-bit-of-that, Tapavino began in August 2012 as Australia's first Sherry Bar, in a little lane-way not unlike something you would find in the cobblestoned alleyways of Spain. Helped by the beautiful warm vibe that greets you as you step inside and take a seat among floor-to-ceiling wine bottles, Tapavino was named runner-up in Sydney Morning Herald's 'Best New Bar' Awards within 4-months of opening. 12-months later we were named 'Best Bar with Food'. Our endless pages of over 300 Spanish wines and 80 Sherries is an important component of our obsession of all things Spanish, and this reflects in our dedication of bringing the most exciting boutique and artisan wines from around Spain to the Australian Market
