Well created dishes with beautiful flavour pairings, good wine list, loved the atmosphere and view, service was excellent, really nice for a relaxed lunch with a group of friends, confit duck dish is definitely woth trying, the fries could be something a bit more special....

Cafe del Mar

35 Wheat Rd, Rooftop Terrace Cockle Bay Wharf 2000, Sydney

Very funky terrace bar, groovy tunes, service a little haphazard but fun wait staff made up for it! Definitely a great spot for a drink (great cocktails) and a bite to eat (very good food). Good mixed crowd which I always like. Good views over Darling Harbour. It does close at 12 midnight due to licensing restrictions - super timing for me!! but others may mind. Great spot for summer drinks.

Amazing food and staff, lively and fun!

Bar Topa
4.7
/ 94

4 Palings Lane 2000, Sydney

Bar Topa is a light, airy and casual new tapas bar located in Sydney's most interesting network of laneways. The staff are friendly and professional and the space is small and cosy. I shared 7 dishes with a couple of mates - whipped salted cod, sardines, mushroom & yolk, white beans, cuttlefish, pipis and patatas bravas - for $22 each. Great value! Recommend for a casual weekday lunch or after work snack. Great spot to hit up before or after a show at the City Recital Hall, or an event at Ivy itself.

Delicious food - these guys know what they're doing. We ordered from Menulog - food arrived within 20 minutes. Excellent crust, quality toppings. Delicious garlic bread.
