Taj Mahal Indian Restaurant

We have a family dinner at the Taj Mahal restaurant last Saturday which was our first experience there following a recommendation. As the starter, we had Barra Kebab with green chutney. The Barra Kebab was simply delicious and we enjoy it with the sauce. We also ate Lamb Biryani with Beef Mushroom as the main course. According to me, this is the best Indian Delicious Food Devonport.

A great place to have the iconic Lamb Pasanda (Mild). Some other beloved dishes are Beef Kashmiri (Mild), Coconut Prawn Curry (Mild), Vegetable Malljhani (Mild). According to me, the Taj Mahal is one of the best Indian cuisine restaurants in Devonport, Australia.

Nice place, appealing ambiance, iconic food! Located in Davenport, Australia. I tried Chicken Tikka Masala with Butter Naan. Chicken Tikka Masala was too delicious and the naans were good enough. Highly recommended and we will be back soon!

Great food a very nice staff

Even though they had a few items not available, the food was terrific and priced well and the waitress was fabulous!!!

Food quality need to be improved. Curry were good and but naan quality need to be improved. Only one Waitress running the entire show and owner is not even there to overview the hotel and get customer feedback on food served.

Can I just say I LOVVEEEE this restaurant. Taj Mahal’s butter chicken is without doubt the best curry I’ve ever had, and I’ve been to a lot of Indian restaurants. I buy Taj Mahal over 4 times a week... a bit obsessive but it’s by far my favourite meal. The cheese naan, all of the naan, is amazingggggg. I love it. The people who run the restaurant are so kind and amazing. I’ve never had a bad experience, they always make me feel welcome, even after my 100th order. They even remember my name now, after my obsession with their food... I recommend this place with all my heart, and try the butter chicken!! It’s incredible.
