Surry Hills Dumplings

Found it on the way back to my bus, convenient for a lunch stop. Servers were pleasant and friendly. Dumplings were lovely, had ours fried. Will go again when I'm in that part of the city.

VALUE TOWN BABY HERE WE GOOOOOOO! But seriously, 15 dumplings, a BBQ pork bun (cha siu, and also my favourite) and a drink for just over $10? You can get your dumplings steamed or pan fried (I went pan fried because I like the textural contrast and flavour), and you can choose between an array of dumpling types; I got pork chives. I've had all kinds of dumplings, growing up on both homemade and frozen, and these were pretty decent. But you can't overlook that value. Value is my favourite flavour.

Cheap price $14 for a great amount of 15 dumplings. Went with the fried selection and it was delicious. My favourite is eggplant but they were all delicious.

Good dumplings

Ordered the pan fried pork dumplings (15 for $8.80). It was delicious and in my view probably better than some of the renowned dumpling places in Ashfield. Don't be put off by the low price. One of the few places in Sydney that's still cheap and delicious!!

Cheap, good food. Although not the best dumpling in the city but surely the best value for money. Great service, quick..good chaps run the show.

Best dumplings on a rainy day! My friend and I past this shop during a literal monsoon, and needless to say, the aroma of succulent juicy dumplings had us doubling back in less than 5 minutes. We ordered the 15 piece pork dumplings to share, and the chef even threw in some pork buns for us. The gesture warmed our poor, cold uni student hearts, and we re-entered the terential downpour with re-ignited vigour. Soaked to the bone, we waved the proprietors goodbye from across the street, as they giggled at our fruitless attempts to keep dry. 10/10 Would most certainly visit again.

Price wise they are reasonable but their dumplings have quite a lot of filler and very less meat.Also there's hardly any flavor.It's hard to know whether you are having a chicken,pork or a cabbage dumpling irrespective of whatever you order.They should improve the quality of their dumplings.Good quantity is nice but better quality is much more important for long term customer retention
