Always such a lovely experience and delicious food whenever I go here I also love that there is always something new for us to try 🙂
Great fun - good environment. The food was excellent. Great service. Recommend all the baos but especially the pork belly and braised duck. The zucchini chips and popcorn chicken were fun. Delicious. Nice wine list. Great beer choices. Reasonably priced to ensure you have a great night out.
A small but fun restaurant with Bao as it's main offer. Well made and enjoyable, a favourite of ours. We like everything in the menu but my favourite is the duck noodles. The service and bar is well regarded. Recommended but not what you are used to.
Everything about this place is great. The food, the service, the ambiance, the easy parking.... I've often come here from the other side of the lake for a meal with friends and it never disappoints. Just be careful not to over order as the food is quite filling. Also, be sure to try their jugs of mocktails, fantastic flavours that really complement the meal. You can add alcohol if you like and that'd make a great shared drink. Leave room for dessert, the all are popular with my crew but the Milky chips are a personal fave. Book to be sure to get a table on busy nights but I've often shown up on off nights and been cheerfully accommodated.
Wow what a great dining experince made all the better with great service from Harry! The truffle addition to the menu was paradise to our taste buds.
You should definitely go during lunch time and get the specials between 12 noon to 2:30 PM. They're a pretty good deal for $15! You can choose 2 different Baos and you'll get another side dish like popcorn chicken or BBQ pork skewers. I will definitely come back with the fam next time.
Every dish we ordered was tasteless and disappointing. This included the baos, the bland and tasteless wontons (worst than supermarket bought wontons) and the apparently "spicy" brisket noodles which was falsely described. We had a group booking and no one on the table were impressed.
Great place to be on a Saturday night. Bao options were delicious (especially the brisket!) and enjoyed the popcorn chicken. My vegetarian friend struggled. I'd like to see more vego share options besides the tofu dish. Even the eggplant has minced pork. Enjoyable experience, just prepare to drop some cash if you want to be full by the end of the evening.
Amazing food, amazing staff & amazing venue. Love everything about the new Super Bao restaurant in Dickson. the space is small but lovely and well fitted out. the bao is to-die-for. Not sure what my favourite was, so many to choose from. Don't forget the drinks menu or the desserts as they are amazing too. The staff know the menu well and are super helpful with ordering. This will become a favourite!
Just had a great takeaway lunch from Super Bao. 5 stars for service 5 stars for speed and efficiency 5 stars for innovative menu 5 stars for yumminess. The crunvy pork bao was as expected delicious. 2 stars for price. 3 bao and the pork larb lettuce wraps was $35 for lunch and I'm not overall full -5 stars for excessive non sustainable packaging 1 for healthiness, not super unhealthy but certainly not a balance meal. Adding more side salad or vegetables would be easy and creasonabke at that price point. Come on guys you can solve this, there is no excuse these days for not getting those last two things right .Every meal you sell should be balanced and all packaging should be sustainable if humanity is to survive this coming century. But thanks for adding to the improving food variety in Canberra
