10 Tulloch St 2148, Blacktown
The best Burmese restaurant in town. Authentic and delicious.
A cozy little restaurant with delicious food. My family enjoyed it a lot, given it was our first time there. Gave it a 4 star as it's a little on the pricy side and the servings are not big
Food was good but that's where it stops. Bad chairs... cheap and can't lean back properly, we had to ask for utensils and the beef curry though yummy was shockingly small
Tried it first time today, won't mind going back. Their Burmese cuisines are no comparison to the Burmese at Surry Hills, dishes were completely different and both were nice. It's not very appealing and attractive on the outside layout of the restaurant, but O ce you go inside, it's a completely different atmosphere. Very comfortable. The foods were good. Recommend the salad shown in menu book, and the chicken with rice, along with the noodles with the boiled eggs (also shown as big picture on menu) Those dishes were really nice!!!
Great food and prices! First time eating Burmese a good experience.
The worst service ever. Ordered our food and waited 35 min for the order. We asked when the food was coming out and they said they were cooking it. Then 10min later, they came back and said they lost our order and they needed to take our order again. So we started ordering again even though we were annoyed and said our order which included a fried rice. And even then they said fried rice will take long coz the kitchen is busy. This response was the last straw. We walked out as we were just fed up. We were a big group but we were invisible to them. The teams that came later than us all got their food and finished their meal and they didn't even notice that we weren't being served our food. The waitresses dont make eye contact and are incompetent of assessing the floor. Its such a small restaurant. First time trying it out and this happens....never had this happen to me at a restaurant before. What a terrible experience.
My go to every week. Delicious authentic food made to order, simple and stunning decor which would remind anyone of home. If you have been to Myanmar and tried the local dishes, I must say that Suns is the closest thing you will ever find here in Australia. Highly recommended.
Food was delicious. Staff very friendly.
A great little gem in the suburbs. Every dish was faultless. I would eat this everyday!
Friendly service and interesting food. We enjoy the chicken curry and Sun’s chicken danbauk. The mixed entree is good too.
