Fresh and very tasty dishes. The flavours were all combined together so well in innovative and delicious combinations. Great ambiance and drinks menu as well. Only gripe would be that although we booked, we needed to wait for some time after our booking until a table became available. I guess some things can’t be helped..

Strangely enough Sugarcane was never on my radar even though it's just a block away from where we live. I was so surprised and slightly blown away when I did finally go for dinner. By far the best restaurant in the Coogee/Randwick area! The food was topnotch and full of flavour and the service was impeccable. Highly recommended!

Great restaurant, we went for the ‘Trust me’ option and it was a brilliant way to try out so many things on the menu and at $60 each it was reasonably priced for roughly 9 dishes! Service was amazing, staff were friendly and really attentive. Excellent find in Coogee.

First and foremost, great food, friendly and very efficient food service, spotless and cleanliness and also noted spacious and not jammed up against other peoples’ chairs.

Great dining experience right on Coogee Beach's doorstep. As you walk in you are greeted by mouthwatering aromas, a clue that the meal ahead is going to be a memorable one. The decor is funky and adds to the awesome vibe. Service is friendly and efficient and the food is outstanding. We'll definitely be returning.

Incredible food. We went for the “Trust me menu” and couldn’t have made a better choice. We discovered so many spectacular flavours tailored to what we like. Martin was our waiter and was just perfect! Will come back for sure

Our first visit to Sugarcane and definitely not our last! The food was so full of flavor and we chose the "Trust Us" menu which was so worth it! Full of tasty surprises! The only thing that we were disappointed about was that dessert wasn't included in the "Trust Us" menu, we were also not made aware of it. Since the food was delicious we couldn't complain too much anyway! Highly recommend choosing this place for lunch or dinner!

Hands down the nicest Thai restaurant we've eaten at. We tried the "Trust Me" menu as recommended by our waitress, and her recommendations did not disappoint. Couldn't recommend highly enough for both food and service.
