MINUS 8 STARS..I went there over the weekend, ordered a few dishes.. ohh where do I start? How the about the mixed vegetables with a white potato that is so stained in oil that it appears to look like a piece of pumpkin or sweet potato. As well as brown peas and brown beans. The stack of naan bread looks like a stack of crepes if there was maple syrup around. Yes it might seen busy but is cheap food while is reheated before it is served to you. YOU CAN PHYSICALLY TASTE THE RADIATION FROM THE MICROWAVE!! Oh and to put your mind at ease just to make you feel alot more comfortable they PHYSICALLY have a sign at the kitchen for everyone to see that states the following "FOOD IS COOKED FRESH DAILY IT EXPIRES AT THE END OF THE DAY"
I had the Chicken Biriyani as takeaway and OH MY GOD, it was one of the best chicken biriyanis in Sydney!
Though taste varies between person to person, we felt the biryani to be bland with too much red color to an extent it stuck to our hands for hours as if we marinated a chicken. Price is very cheap compared to what we we get at around PARRAMATTA. Meat were cooked properly even though they were cut 50g or larger chunks. So if you're types who enjoys spicy food, you won't enjoy, others might enjoy. Also of you're driving, parking in area is rare, have a passenger to assist while you do rounds.
Only Staff are Good Else worthless of paying( Esp. Biryaani chkn, lamb) and never buy paanπ π This is first and last visitπ
Very tasty biryani and everything and service is very quick
Love the Biryani, Haleem and Chicken Tandoori. I think the best chicken tandoori I have tasted as yet in Sydney. The deserts ..phirni ( pudding) is also a must try. The staff are friendly and greet with a smile , it can get busy during weekend evenings.
Ordered butter chicken and seekh kebabs. Came after half an hour with one dish (butter chicken) missing. We reminded them as our food was getting cold. Had to wait extra 10 minutes for that to arrive. The presentation of curry was not good as you can see in the photo. Chicken pieces lacked flavor and were too big for butter chicken. Can't say it was tandoori chicken in that. Besides it was very sweet. Lamb seekh kebabs and chutney was nice
Tasty food good service friendly staff only toilet needs attention
Been there a few times and also the one in surry hills. They are consistently good. They have standardized the recipe that every student biryani u visit you know you cant go wrong. Well done! ππ
Love the food. My personal fave is the Lamb Biryani. Fair price and decent portion.
