Straight Outta Saigon

Small and intimate...,but book early! The place is small and there are outside tables, but it’s popular... so book. Great menu and variety. I’ve had the satay skewers, scallops which were wonderful BUT my favorite was the Beef Vietnamese salad...just wonderful. Service is great ... food is amazing... highly recommend!!

The food was delicious and we tried quiet a few dishes. The service was also outstanding. 100% recommend!

Really cool little spot on Russell Street. Very friendly and attentive staff, amazing drinks selection and a really chill ambience throughout (extra points for the DMX playlist on the night of our dinner). Make sure to try the Beef Betel Leaf skewers and the Pork Belly and Apple slaw. Will definitely go back again!

Tasty food, nothing extraordinary. Pretty pricy and not very authentic. Lady who served us was lovely and helpful.

The food was affordable, delicious, full of flavour and generous. Great place to go in a group. I really liked the concept of their banquet shared menu ' A bit of everything'. My favourite dish was the scallops with cheese. They also served cocktails. The Vietnamese expresso martini was on point. The customer service was friendly and attentive. Hana and Midz made our night very memorable.

Tried the veggies spring rolls really good! Veggie flat noodles really tasty ,fryed tofu so good!! Strongly recommend!

Buzzing atmosphere on the noisy side, friendly service, tasty food. Not sure how common sashimi salmon is in Vietnam but it was pretty tasty. And any place that has soft shell crabs (study shell crab bun) is always good with me.

Just popped into Straight Outta Saigon for a few cocktails with my partner. The service was amazing! Bec was our server and she was lovely - however, all of the staff were so friendly and came and spoke with us or helped us at some point. This is our second time here and we will always come back! Thank you :)

The customer service was wonderful - all staff and the environment of the restaurant was really nice just unfortunately our food was such a disappointment. The pork was incredibly dry and chewy, the curry was nice but not spectacular and the mango calamari salad made me feel unwell and I couldn't eat more than a couple of bites. I do not want to make negative reviews on what was a really nice place but I wouldn't have paid for this meal if I knew the quality beforehand.

Delicious food. Great to share with friends. Cheap for the quality of food and serving sizes. Beautiful authentic Asian flavours!
