100 Centennial Cct, Byron Bay
Amazing as always. The staff are always friendly. Stone Beer festival was family friendly and everyone had a great time.
The staff were incredibly hospitable and so kind. Had a great time and the vibe at the brewery was great. Couldn’t recommend this place more. If you’re in Byron this is definitely a go to place to visit with family or friends, suitable for all ages (over 18 of course)
A tour would have added to the fun we had there, but that’s alright, there’s always a next time 😅
Do the tour if you have time! Totally worth it and interesting
Fresh and tidy place with a professional feel to It. I just had a beer here because I had food at the market just before. A drinkable, fresh round taste, that doesn't flatten at the end or leave a bitter aftertaste. Loved the lady. Will be back next time with space for food. 😊
Had a tour of the Stone and Wood Brewery on Friday 11/09/20. I had been looking forward to this since booking a trip to Byron. The Stone and Wood facility is excellent. It is spacious, modern and has a very Byron feel. They had a vast range of beers on tap with cheap tasting paddles to sample the best they had to offer. Food from the canteen was good and reasonably priced. The tour of the Brewery was superb. Our host was passionate and very knowledgeable. They generously give you 8 beers throughout the 90 minute tour, whilst taking you through the history of Stone and Wood, and the process of how they brew their beer. Perfect place to visit for any craft beer lover, or anyone visiting Byron Bay who wants a great afternoon out.
The place with the best craft beer in Australia Super freindly staff - highly recommend this place for both food and a paddle of tasters - then leave with a carton of the Pacific Ale. Cant go wrong.
If you are a disciple of beer then this is a temple you must visit. Despite being in an industrial estate (as most breweries are) they have made a really comfortable and sunny spot to hang with tropical trees and wood finishings giving it a very natural vibe. Now the beer. This is the place to sample the legendary Pacific Ale as fresh as it gets. Plus they have some limited edition brews and guest taps as that may even be better. Food menu is also on point. So there's really no excuse not to go.
The tour was well informed, great experience in the tasting of the beers and highly entertaining. They've made some of the best independent beers.
While I got the sense that this place was created more for the sake of the pub than for the brewery itself, it was a nice enough place to stop by for a drink. The prices were ok, but the food wasnt amazing. Lots of interesting brews to try that isn’t readily available in the bottle shop. We didn’t have time to do the tour, which may have made me appreciate this place even more.
