Beenleigh Historical Village 205 Main St, Beenleigh
Beautiful show. The story was interesting and the actors were so professional. We often were part of the show. The dinner was delicious. I loved the atmosphere. I appreciated also the transfer. THANK YOU!
The theatre play is based on a real, moving story - a great experience and a glimpse of history. The show takes you through the village, there's dancing, singing, storytelling, video, overall an excellent performance. The location of the show is perfect, within the historical village & museum, which really sets the scene. Dinner was lovely and is made of traditional foods. We highly recommend the show!
Spirits of the Red Sand is the best story telling I've ever seen. I was excited about every scene, and some scenes were very dramatic. This location is well organized from one scene to another. Building, scene, lighting, composition, actors all excellent! The taste of kangaroo, emu and crocodile barbecue tasting is the highlight of the dinner. Donβt miss this story , you will love it. Highly recommend!
We had a fabulous night. Show very informative about Australias history and well preformed by local Indigenous peoples. The meals were lovely and very generous servings. They cater for all dietary requiements with a smile. Would highly recommend going to this show. Suitable for children and adults.
Wot an absolute pleasure to have be in the presence of the aboriginal people, the storytelling takes you back in time and of one you have to experience, truly a performance that is and needs for us all to embrace, I suggest you take your family because you won't be disappointed...oh and to top it off the food and the end was absolutely amazing
Show was excellent and educational learning the truth about our true past. The aboriginals really have been treated so poorly and I'm disgusted the way us white people have taken their country the way we did. This show is and should be seen by every Australian to understand our true past. I myself look at Aboriginal people in a different way now knowing what they have been through. To the actors, staff, and all that were involved-well done. The dinner at the end was superb and getting to mingle with the actors whilst enjoying a great hearty meal. I'm a big eater and I left very full and satisfied. My wife is a Coeiliac and she was well looked after and her gluten free meals she loved. Thanks for looking after her. If I can offer 1 bit of constructive advice for future shows, when in dream time theatre the elder we could not here due to music so loud. Please everyone thinking of attending, do it. Wear warm clothes as suggested. We look fwd to your tour down the East Coast in the near future
Leads us through a journey of Australia past via the lens of the local aboriginal people. As well provides a good meal and local employment
A must-see event for tourists in the area (worth the drive from central Brisbane). A deeply educational experience from a perspective you don't get outside of Australia. Lots of care and love by the cast and crew sharing their stories and welcoming us guests. The dinner that followed was delicious!
Really informative show, the staff were lovely and the food was absolutely delicious!! ππ highly recommended
It took me back in time and pulled at my emotions. It was a very moving interactive show and worth every $$$. The village they built to the family business they have built ... good on you. The show finished with an amazing meal 3 courses...thank you
