Spice Bar Restaurant

We have been here every time we visit Mooloolaba and never disappointed. In fact we are always blown away. As a food photographer the textures, tastes and exceptional presentation are delights. iPhone does not do justice

I really enjoyed the dining experience. The views are beautiful and the service genuine. We enjoyed the set lunch with matched wines (1.5 glasses and 1/2 gin nip at the end), $110 per person + sparking water . A little on the expensive side seeing as I’m still a little hungry, but the flavours were wonderful and the chefs did an amazing job catering for a vegan friend. The dessert was the course of the day. I would return!

Lovely service and setting. Degustation was good without being groundbreaking. Food was beautifully presented however Asian elements were too understated to make much of an impact. Beef course was a stand out. Would return to try a la carte menu.

We were instantly delighted to get a table outside facing the ocean. Things only got better from there!! We decided on the degustation menu together with the wine pairing. In addition we added the scallops - OMG! So glad we did!! Throughout we were guided through the meal by Craig, who was a wealth of knowledge on the wines we were consuming, and all the little elements of the dishes. We finished with a coffee and a cocktail and left absolutely delighted by the experience. Thank you to Craig and all the staff for an enjoyable and memorable experience. We will be back!!

Awesome experience today for our special celebration, we had the degustation which was full of flavour and was presented beautifully. Top quality service, food and wine, and very flexible menu for anyone with allergies or special food preferences. I would highly recommend spice bar for anyone wanting a memorable dining experience for a special celebration.

Enjoyed a fantastic 7 course degustation menu with matching wines. Very well cooked and presented. The only drawback was not knowing what was coming next, be that food or wine. Made for a bit of a ‘choose your own adventure’ feeling which was a little awkward.

Great meal, excellent service from Craig. Highly recommend.
