Spice Bar Restaurant

Excellent food and service. Highly recommended.

This was our first time at this restaurant and we could not fault the service or the food. It is simply and elegantly beautiful both in presentation and taste. Highly recommend the 5 degustation course (which actually turned out to be 6 courses). The matching wines were equally as lovely as the food. At the end of the night we could not name a favorite although the scallops were probably the most hailed.

Delicious. Had the degustation menu so got to try a bit of everything. Matching wines also. The scallops are a must. So good. Waiter and service was amazing. An explanation of each dish as the come out. Whole experience was outstanding.

To say we are disappointed with this restaurant/bar is an understatement!! Zero customer service and overall no general hospitality. From the moment we entered management let us know that they were fully booked. We asked if we could just sit at the bar and order a cocktail our answer yes but we are fully booked, yet the entire establishment was literally empty. The only outstanding member of this establishment was bartender Jack, who went out of his way to make us feel comfortable for the short time we were there and offered us service with a genuine smile.

The food is excellent, but honestly even for the quality, which is exceptional, the value is not where it needs to be. Good for a couple for a special meal, will get very expensive very quickly if you bring a group and want to leave having enjoyed a filling meal. It's 3.75 stars from me. You'll probably be delighted, but you might feel disappointed.

Scallops were an absolute delight and the best I’ve come across in a long time. Other highlights were the tuna and the beef tataki.

A big thank you to everyone at The Spice Bar (especially Sarah our waitress and the very talented chefs) for a truly fabulous meal on our last night on the Sunshine Coast. A dining experience consisting of twelve courses of some of the best Asian food ever, along with superb wines and delicious cocktails.

We went to the Spice Bar for our anniversary dinner last week. We'd heard so many good things about it and that it was pretty special so had to go. Easily booked online, there were so many staff available so service was very quick and smooth, friendly staff and of course... the food! It was amazing. We had the degustation dinner and it just got better and better as the dishes came out. It was a great way to relax and take our time, there was no rush. Will go again!

Took my wife here for her birthday dinner and we were both highly impressed with the dishes. We had the 5 course degustation with the scallops as extra. The coral trout was cooked to perfection with every dish tasting amazing. Top class restaurant!

Ahhhhhmazing food and great service! The flavours and the menu is extensive, a great place for a cocktail or local beer on tap. A delicious Asian inspired restaurant. This is a must if in Mooloolaba!!!!
