I love the market since its been upgraded so a different type of people go there. Its made it more up market.
Night market during summer whilst visiting for the Australian Open Tennis. Delicious food, street entertainment, free parking - sometimes a night market with yummy food hands down is better than a fancy restaurant.
Great market. Lots of fresh seafood esp. the oyster bar. AUD$2 per smoked bay oyster. Yummm....

A great place for great food and locallly made goods. South Melbourne market is the prettier, more talented, and less well known sister of Queen Victoria market. Well worth the visit.
