Lots to like about this venue, Latino flavour, vibrant, sadly, foodwise just "plainly" disappointing ... taste, portion and presentation ... Arepa Ropa Vieja $14.60, very dry beef Arepa Chorizo plate $15.60, half #smiley chorizo ... Empandas Beef & Potato $4.60 was the best. Love Julio Iglesias greeting us by the QR check-in ...

If you haven't been, just have a quiet word with yourself. The food is incredibly fresh and so tasty. The staff are legends too. You'll be coming back more than one time that's for sure. The guts are very considerate of taking all the safety measures by signing in, providing sanitizer and having a digital menu too. Highly recommended!

Cosy place with a nice coffee, the arepas were ok but not exeptional.

I went to this place for the first time excited about trying their arepas and felt super disappointed by the quality, quantity and price. I can't believe a simple thin arepa with eggs on top costs $15. With minimal effort we make better arepas at home. The coffee was below average and was lukewarm. Me and my partner intended to have a chill breakfast and ended up paying $60 for a disappointment.

Its been a while simce I was last at Sonido. It was a pleasent suprise they are still alive and running. The food was as good as i remembered. Very fresh amd refreshing for a warm summer day. I had Rice bowel with chicken and of egg. The lime juice gives the rice bowel an excellent balance of acidity. The coffee was very good as well. The staff are very lovely and attentive. The window seat is excellent view for cute doggos on their walk!

The arepas are amazing, The empanadas are ok but the service is terrible. I was waiting for 30 minutes before someone took my order and they weren’t that busy. When they did take my order, my coffee wasn’t hot enough and they brought the mains after 25 minutes of ordering.

Start the morning off with a smile. Love the feel of this place. The amazing aroma, decor and music transports you to South America.

Amazing food. Amazing coffee. Feels like a little slice of Colombia in the middle of Melbourne.
