Disappointed, especially after a lot of great reviews. Ordered the pork belly. Not good at all: pork belly was overcooked to mush and coated in honey batter. No balance, sickeningly sweet. Bad. Mooloolaba Prawns were decent, but at $36 for 4, not great value. XO Oysters were good. King Prawn Rissoto was the pick of an average spread. We were put out the back of the restaurant near the kitchen door with the bins and drunks. Wasn't a terrible experience, but at $175 for 2 with two drinks there's dozens of better places to spend 4 pineapples within a short walk.

Terrible service, had to constantly remind staff about our food, drinks and missed parts of our meal eg we ordered the lamb which came with slaw but it did not, until we asked for it. The drinks only came after the main meal because we asked for it a few times. Seriously ...!!@

We had the pleasure of dining at the social on the weekend. We walked in on Friday afternoon for a few drinks and a bite to eat. The kitchen was closed however the chef specially cooked for us, we were blown away by the service and hospitality. The food was amazing, bar staff were awesome. We were that impressed we booked for lunch on Saturday. The food was brilliant, drinks were matched perfectly and Service was again exceptional. I would highly recommend. Thank you guys we loved it and you are now one of our favourites. We will be back!

Amazing, the is a must to explore food at its finest. Matched to bring out the best flavours and the staff are comfortable to recommend food and drinks that may be unusual. For us, we loved every plate and the passion for the food by the kitchen. Bar set is recommend if your a small group. Thanks Guys! We loved dinner and will be back

I will go back here again. Meals were nice, fresh and arrived in a timely manner. We all walked away feeling satisfied.

Magnificent.Every time we come to the gold coast we come for tea.They have been pumping out this quality food for years and it's always seems better the next time you come.This place is a must don't miss out

We started out with a couple of tasty oyster flavours and the seared scallops which were all perfectly executed with respect for the delicacy of the produce. And the scallops were topped with fine wisps of fried potato and seaweed crunchy genius. And for main we enjoyed: Hands down, THE BEST PORK BELLY WE HAVE EVER EATEN 🤤 What a dish! It looked beautiful and when I cut into the crisp crackle, I thought the meat was going to be dry... Wrong... so soft and luxurious it pulled apart with a fork 👌... it didn't stop there, the sauce was so sticky some drips stuck like toffee to the plate but was saved from being too sweet by the perfectly balanced acidity of the pawpaw salad and the traditional mint, basil leaves made it great. Bravo whoever put this together 👏🧑‍🍳 Our side dish of Apple and kohlrabi salad delicious blend of crunchy and creamy. At first I thought it was lacking seasoning but, once my taste buds had registered all the ingredients, actually showed great restraint and knowledge of flavour. Our dessert of Panna cotta with strawberry granita ended our meal perfectly, again showing the team here knows their stuff. The textures of luscious panna cotta and icy granita played as well together as the contrasting flavours, with the sharp strawberry cleansing the palate nicely and the Szechuan pepper a subtle addition, but one that took the classic combinatto of strawberries and cream to the next level. Can't wait to eat here again 🤩
