Smoke & Pickles

As you would expect from the name, their pickles are excellent, with a good balance of sweet, sour and spices. The truffle potato gems and jalapeno poppers were also enjoyable. The burgers had good flavours although the bun to meat ratio is a bit high. I would go for a double patty beef burger next time.

Delicious chicken ribs with the right ratio of crunchy & oily. BBQ bacon burger and double patty cheeseburger were very tasty. Fast service & good air con on a hot day. Will be back.

Wow! What a gorgeous afternoon for awesome food 🍔🍔 Ordered the Chicken Ribs, Burnt Ends, Reuben burger, the Simple Chicken and Fries. Chicken ribs had so much flavour & crunch, Burnt Ends were moist and so tasty. The Reuben with housemade pastrami and double beef would have to be one of the best burgers that I've ever had the pleasure of inhaling 👍👍🍔 The Simple Chicken with housemade canteen sauce was just amazing and the fries were well-seasoned with great crunch. Well done guys well worth the trip from Geelong and can't wait to come back!! 😁👍👍

Just okay. Patties were decent but a bit bland and too saucy

Absolutely magnificent!! The chicken amazingly crispy and soft. Would highly recommend! We came in as a group of 5 and got a bit of all of the entrees from the "fried" menu. Was great! All of us got to try a bit of everything and we're amazingly satisfied. Yet to try the burgers here - but will definitely be back for them. The staff are super friendly! The ambience of the place has border line take away and sit down restaurant feels. Would recommend th spicy flavoured chicken and the spicy flavoured fries. Great place, great food, great people. Definitely one of the best fried chicken I've had in Melbourne.

I think I’ve just had the best beef burger in my life. It has so much fresh truffle and the flavour is unreal.

I’d been meaning to try this place for a while now though don’t live locally but today I stopped in, the place was clean and the service was ace. I got the Canteen Classic which was friggen amazing, and the fried chicken was super tasty and not greasy. Their $10 lunch special looks the goods too!
