Shingle Inn

Ordered the smashed avo, $16.50, received the tiniest pieces of bread with a smear of avo and 1 tiny poached egg, 2 tiny squares of randomly plated feta and about 8 undressed rocket leaves, biggest thing on the plate was the lemon wedge, who knows what that was for!! not really impressed with quality or value. Service was fine but very slow ( waited 30mins for food), thankfully coffee was ok or I would have been really grumpy.

TERRIBLE! Stopped here for a cup of tea and wish we had checked reviews first! They served my Luke warm T2 chai (which I don't think was really T2) in a tea pot which was chipped alongside a cup that was also chipped! We also got a dirty look when we asked if they could wipe the table clean before we sat down. Never again!

Ordered a babycino for my 3 yo boy. The first time it came out as hot as molten lava so I asked for a cooler replacement. The second came out, he took a sip and dropped the still too hot drink down his front and freaked out. The staff offered no help, apology or a full refund. I explained to the "barista" that perhaps a drink for little kids shouldnt come out hot enough to scold them and still got nothing from them. Then got a little attitude when I asked for the refund they didnt offer. They also had gingerbread men on show for sale that had Richmond and GWS jumpers on for the grand final that had been played 6 weeks beforehand. Not exactly fresh.

This used to be a lovely place to have coffee. Since it changed hands it has gone steadily downhill. So disappointing!!!

5 mins standing at the counter, they do don't even turn around

$6 for a small coffee means rip-off. Very overpriced for what they serve (which seems to be of low quality anyway). It may be convenient, but walk somewhere else and save a few bucks.

Ordered through uber eats for their burger range. I got knocked back 20 mins later after I paid and now i don't have the money. Why put something up on uber if you can't even make the order!

Not even worth one star Poor manager, poor customer service. Feel so sorry for those who work there! The manager is extremely rude!!! Can't believe that Shingle inn will have such person to manage the store.

Passion bombe was frozen! Absolutely disgusting you need to see the quality of your food before you send it out

Lovely coffee, friendly service. I work in one of the shops and the lovely manager brought my coffee to my shop because I was too busy to go on break. If that isn't good service I don't know what is.
