Ordered food at 6.30pm, now 8.30pm and haven't even started cooking, Rude on the phone. Then couldn't get through, No apology or offer of refund.

our delivery took over two hours to arrive, staff were extremely rude on the phone, and the vegetarian dish from our order was lamb. will not be ordering from them again.

Worst restaurant i have ever experienced in my life....on my bday 17 Dec , 2020 I ordered 3 vegetables , 4 garlic naan and 4 normal naan , first of all they gave me all the 8 normal naan none of them were garlic naan and second thing is all of them were stale like they were cooked 5-6 hours ago , i was really so much embarrassed in front of my friends on my bday this was the first time I decided to celebrate and it was ruined because of the restaurant and when i went there to complaint they did not even accept there mistake..I suggest to everyone never to order food from Shandar Tandoori Indian worst Restaurant...they ruined my bday i was so much embarrassed because of them.

Great Indian food. Excellent service and fast delivery. Butter chicken was classic and exactly how you want butter to chicken to be. Garlic naan was charred to perfection. Overall was a fantastic experience, highly recommend.

We have been ordering from this restaurant for 14 years. Unfortunately we had a lamb curry which was very very tough, this night was 23 August, 2020. It was unusual as all curries we have had from Shandar have been great. So when we called them they said, so sorry and they would give us a main dish next time, complimentary .... Tonight we wanted to order, and we mentioned we had a credit for one main meal. The Manager and Chef denied any credit. There was a lengthy discussion with the manager and the Chef. So, they both decided not to uphold a ‘once’ complaint and do nothing for us dedicated customers.... They were arguing for ... perhaps one meal $20 ???? We will never order from them again 😡 Also we have recommended Shandar to many of our friends.... We will be sharing our dissatisfaction ☹️

The best place to have North Indian food - after visiting more than 10 Indian restaurants around Freshwater, in my opinion Shandar tandoori is the best. Tasty food without too much of anything. And they serve you well enough for your appetite. The place and service is good too. I'll raise my hand anytime for their dinner.
