Sage Restaurant & Bar - Function Venue Gold Coast

I ordered the salt and pepper calamari salad which was delicious and cooked to perfection. The service was good although it did take a little while to take my order but staff were quite attentive after the initial hiccup. The restaurant atmosphere was also enjoyable. Would definitely eat here again.

Food was average and the staff were very unwelcoming and really didn't seem to want to be there. We've been meaning to try this place out each time we visit and have gone elsewhere each time. We made the effort this time and really wish we hadn't.

Just visited Sage for our final dinner of the trip. Despite the waitress being lovely and professional the visit was very disappointing. Kids meals were ok and reasonably priced however the steak was terrible, I ordered a medium and when you are being charged $40 for a steak it needs to be spot on and this was way over cooked. When asked how my meal was I complained and eventually the supervisor came over and smugly advised that only one side of the meal was over cooked, Seriously! They did offer me another meal which I declined however no discount was offered. I would like to suggest to the owners that they part ways with the tall skinny beanstalk of a supervisor, customers who complain about their food generally on do this for a reason and don’t appreciate being argued with. I would also suggest the Chef may be better suited to the local RSL club

Had lunch at Sage today, great food and amazing service. The price was very reasonable as well. Definitely recommend this place.

Sage is great we go between 5-6 pm and you get 30% off the bill order b4 6pm maybe book for a Fri or sat night. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Great atmosphere. Food was absolutely beautiful. The best Soft Shell Crab ever. Very efficient, friendly staff.

Everything about this restaurant was exceptional. We had the best pizza and gnocchi we have ever had... ever! Taste sensation.

My friends and I enjoyed our evening at sage on Saturday night they had pasta and pizza but I had a special wow! (The beef cheeks ) so tender and juicy and the sauce was rich and tasty amazing .

Incredible food and really reasonably priced. Restaurant was full when we were there but still received really good service and there was a great vibe.
