Great ambience and very professional service. Would definitely visit again.

Cannot fault the food, all credit to the chefs. Good selection on the kids menu as well. Only weird aspect was that for a restaurant surrounded by water, some tables(ours) do not have a view, and a blind on a large window was closed in the evening (no sun to speak off) which killed the ambience. Also our waitress did forget one order which is forgivable during the busy dinner rush. A pleasant experience but this place could be a force in Launceston with some tweaks.

Lovely restaurant near the water and the CBD. Walking distance from our hotel. Staff were lovely and helpful

Five of us had dinner very recently at 'Rupert and Hound' and all agreed that it was excellent. My pea and herb risotto cake was so flavoursome and my partner was full of praise for his mussels and octopus. Service was professional and unobtrusive. 'Rupert and Hound' is in a great position

Group of 4 for late seating as was Saturday night. Very busy night. Staff were great as they had to deal with a couple of us that had never been to this restaurant and didn't understand the menu. lots of patience. Meals and drinks ordered and staff were quick to deliver the drinks. recommend

Today was the second time I have been to this establishment.. as I live in Melbourne I cannot frequent more. I took my brother here for lunch and let me tell you he Is one of the most critical foodie you could come across. He loved it!! And will def be a returns customer Many times. Food is fantastic and service spot on.. these guys Know what to do right in all aspects of running a cafe/restaurant. Well done to management, chefs and wait staff. Highly recommend to anyone.
