8/110 surf parade Broadbeach 4218, Broadbeach
Food very good, presentation, service and price all there , can't go wrong, went twice in a week holiday from Melbourne, I'm Italian so nice experience a different cuisine,
Feel like I was made to make a star rating when it definitely wasn’t. I wanted to enjoy something different from Australian but I was made to feel I was a prisoner in my own country, disgusting. I would highly recommend everyone to eat at dominoes down the road you will have a better invitation. Or even order from home. I’d rather eat and drink home if I’m given the chance from now on and we don’t get out often. So sad to see after COVID :-(
Good food I would advise making a booking though, it gets busy
We had dinner at Rumi on a Tuesday night at 8pm and were very impressed by their hospitality, customer service and quality of their food. We ordered an entree (grilled eggplant mezze) and two mains (grilled chicken skewer plate) and found it to be more than enough as their portion sizes are super generous. On top of that, there were a lot of nice touches to the dish such as a small serving of chips, grilled vegetables and a dip. Food came out on time & staff were very friendly and prompt in attending to our needs. The decor and ambience was spot on. So glad we chose this restaurant over another restaurant with Persian cuisine in the area. Thanks guys :)
Great food, great staff & service. Absolutely recommend this restaurant.
there's also vegan food there and it is amazing! cocktails are fantastic! very friendly staff too. definitely a must go! prices are also very reasonable! persian cuisine at its finest
We were roaming around broad beach when I see a restaurant called Rumi. My dad was so excited when he saw it was a Persian restaurant. To quote him exactly, “When you see a Persian restaurant, you gotta go.” We come in and order our food. To be honest the wait was a bit long but that shows how good the restaurant is I guess. The waiters were super nice and the food was delicious. Next time we’re in town we’re for sure gonna be eating at Rumi. ( btw you’ve got perfect portions👍👍) 5 stars for sure.
Okay, so we decided to celebrate our new year in Rumi with dinner. We sat at 6:20 and ordered food after 10 mins. we finished our food at 7:15, and the new year was at 7:37 We asked to have tea with our cake, and the manager rudely advised that our time is over and we need to leave for The next guests! You can run your business any way you like, but please remove Persian from the restaurant. This is not a Persian way to treat guests. I have to say, after our host asked Him, he unwillingly accepted to serve tea! Food is good even though it is not the proper size.Shishlik means six pieces of lamb cutlet, and what we received was four pieces. Rice was too small for Persian. The staff were Friendly and polite. However, the manager was very rude. Overall shocking experience from a place called after one of the greatest poet/philosopher In the world, Rumi.
Amazing foods and location. We enjoyed the food till last bite. Helpful chef and friendly waiter.
Hands down the best Barg, Koobideh and Chenjeh on skewers you have probably ever tasted even if you're Persian and you know good food, this is next level! Lovely staff and great service in the vibrant space of Broadbeach.
