Rumi Persian Restaurant

Tastiest Persian food in SE Queensland. Great service, lovely decor with indoor and outdoor seating. Serving sizes on rice was a little skimpy compared to other places I've been.

My love and i were day in our road trip to the North. We ordered MAKHSOOS KEBAB. We were there in the middle of week on Wednesday that the restaurant was not crowded at all But we wait unusually too much to be served. The dish itself was not only at look, but also taste really great. Both kebabs and rice were really well cooked, nice and delicious and it came with salad. But unfortunately I found a piece of hair at the middle of my meal which was really disappointing and disgusting. When manager asked us about the food, I told him what I found and he apologized a lot and gave us a complementary chai. One more thing, the waiter was very nice and polite guy, But not Persian which is maybe chic but as a Persian I like someone who serve me, can tell me more than a name of food and can explain and know more about the food I am asking of.

Ate here on a Monday night when they had a buffet style service. A nice selection of rices, meat and vegetable dishes. We were also served some courses directly from the kitchen, which was a nice touch. Some of the best Persian cuisine I've ever had. Even though the restaurant decor is quite classy, our young kids were accommodated for. There was a slight misunderstanding with the bill at the end, but overall a great dinner experience.

I'm unsure why some of the other comments aren't over 5 stars.. Very quick to be served and very quick to get our order. The meals are pretty big and really tasty. Keep doing what you're doing Rumi! Highly recommend it!

I really enjoyed my experience of Rumi Persian Restaurant. Persian is my FAVOURITE cuisine and I was very impressed with how authentic all the dishes were (we went on a buffet night), the way the restaurant was set up, the tea and the friendly service.

The food is okay, the staff are good, except their manager is a thief :), so be carful and enjoy

Rumi restaurant had fantastic food and excellent service for their customers, they would check if you require anything for your meal. I came all the way from sydney to visit their restaurant as i heard great things about this place and now know it was all true, i Would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone, and i would come back and eat their again.
