Ruby's

Unfortunately this place for us is a little 'out of sight and of mind' and sometimes forgotten about, which is totally our loss. The degaustion menu with paired wines is sensational - each dish prepared as visual art and the flavours match the looks. Add a decent spattering of local wines in the pairing with excellent service and Ruby's would easily hold it's own with some of the finest hatted establishments of our capital cities. The atmosphere of the old cottage/store/post office is unmatchable. We need to keep Ruby's 'at the front of sight and mind'. Simply outstanding.

Fine dining at its best. Had the 5 course degustation and wine pairing. Enjoyed every dish as it was done to perfection. The wine pairing is a must as it was only $25 on top for 4 or 5 glasses. And it was rather generous. The setting and ambient of the place was outstanding and I would strongly recommend it to anyone in the shell habour area.

Great food, great staff, great place for a wedding reception

I booked a dinner for my parents 40th anniversary. This place is amazing from the beautifully appointed private dining rooms, exquisite food to the impeccable service and professional yet friendly attitude of all the staff and management. No request was too much as they catered to everything we asked. Highly recommended this for a function, small dinner or intimate occasion.

I would like to say a big thank you to Scott and Rachel at Ruby's for making my daughters wedding yesterday such a memorable day. This place is a hidden gem. The food was amazing. The staff were professional and Rachel you did a fantastic job co-ordinating all the little things to make Michelle and Brads night so special. Thank you so much for all your attention to detail guys I couldn't fault anything and everyone had a fantastic time. AMAZING!

Favourite restaurant for special occasions! Degustation is the best in Wollongong. Great wine pairing and service is friendly and high class.

Fantastic venue for a wedding we attended here. The best food and service we've had for a lung time. Lovely rustic (in a nice way) setting, highly recommended.
