RoyAl's Chicken and Burgers

My friend and I just arrived to have an early dinner and were refused entrance because we didn't have ID. Keep in mind, it was 04:25 in the afternoon so it's not like it was as though the sun had even set. The guy who was working the shift said that if I had a photo on my phone of my ID then he'd accept that, so somehow he was adhering to the rules by checking ID but breaching the law by being willing to accept a photograph (which could very, very easily be manipulated) of ID as a legitimate source of ID. Confusing. I'm left wondering, what happens if students want to stop by after class? Are they also going to be turned away too? Such a strange business tactic. Also, worth nothing - My friend and I do not even consume alcohol, ever, despite both being over 25.

Waited over 40 minutes for cold and soggy fries. Unfortunately they ran out of chicken when we arrived so we were only able to try the beef burgers, which wasn't too bad. One of the guys working there were extremely rude and told us we weren't even allowed to wait outside because we were underage.

Soooo good. Great burgers, fast service. No wonder they're always super busy!

Calories. Beef burgers are decent. Chicken burgers are alright. It’s about a 3.5 for me. Onion rings are weirdly tiny and OIL. Tater tots are fried instead of baked. Dill mayonnaise sauce is yum. Come for the calories.

Very basic. The patty is way too dry. The patty has a similiar taste to the McDonald’s Angus patty. The price of the burger for the quality is way too overpriced. Overall it does not satisfy your taste buds if you are a burger enthusiast. In terms of ambience, it is a great place to chill and have a few beers. For good burgers.. hell nahhhhhhh

Decided to try this place for the first time. Ordered a royal with cheese and paid extra for the 'double'. Received a barley warm burger with one meat pattie. Plenty of better places selling decent burgers on the strip.

Great food and atmosphere here. A good selection of craft beers too.

I think RoyAl's makes the best burgers in Perth. On my most recent visit I had the burger of the week but I usually have the ODB. The Victoria Park venue is great with a good selection of beer on tap. The staff are kind and efficient. The only thing that lets RoyAls down is the mediocre chips.
