One of the best, authentic Malaysian places in Melbourne. Simple, flavourful menu items like Maggi Goreng and a large selection of rotisserie, if you've been to Malaysia you'll feel right at home here. Definitely some unique items here you won't find in many places in Melbourne.

Best Malaysian Style Banana Leaf Rice in Melbourne outside Malaysia. All the spices dancing in your mouth and warming up our tummies during Winter Lockdown. Recommended to all foodies who loved malaysian food.

Amazing food and service from the wait staff; all are willing to engage in conversation with customers and provide really interesting factoids on their food and cultural traditions. Connie, i believe her name was, is such a kind soul and you can tell that she is passionate about what she does and the patrons she serves.

Finally found a banana leaf rice in the heart of Melbourne! The food and the serving way is authentic like how we, the Malaysian, will have in our home country! The sides are a little pricey cause I assume to have a little more bigger portions with the price I paid, but overall is what I’m looking forward to have on weekends!

Delicious food! Lovely place... had food in banana leaf after ages! The staff is very helpful and courteous.. service is quick however it gets messy when there is rush. Please book well in advance before you head here.. we did not have a booking .. we still managed to get a table for a quick lunch in 30min :) worth it! Don’t forget to order the banana leaf plate with some extra’s like mutton or fish/chicken fry.

Fantastic Banana Leaf delivered to your home during Lockdown 4.0 in Melbourne. The food was very authentic, delicious and hits the spot. We had Lamb Curry and Chicken Varuval with our BLR set. It was served with 3 types of vegetables, papadum, raita (yogurt), fried bitter gourd and jasmine rice. We also ordered Nasi Lemak Fried Chicken and Beef Rendang. All of them tasted really good. Beef rendang melts in your mouth. Highly recommended for those who miss this type of Malaysian Food.

The best BLF in Melbourne and possibly Australia. I have been eating BLF here for the past 3 years and it’s always consistent and delicious. During Covid lockdown I did deliveries as well and it was prompt and efficient. Highly Recommended!!!
