What a fantastic place to visit. Great host Geoff and the best home style meal cooked by his wife. We were over whelmed by the hospitality and friendliness of all who were in the pub beats the flasher pubs here hands down. Tillie our blue heeler loved being in the front bar with us country hospitality at its best.

Older establishment in this country town. One of 3 old pubs almost side by side on the main road leading into town. Not much to look at as far as decor is concerned but has a well stocked bar and clean no fuss eating area. $10 lunches are available at both counter and dining area. $5 schooners available all day Thursday. Lunch menu limited and basic but meals wholesome and well prepared. Friendly staff and clean toilets to complete the experience. Good stop off for a meal and coffee on your way through on your travels. Whilst in town take the time to view the recently completed silo art behind the railway station. Well worth a look and sure to be a popular tourist attraction.

Grate staff very accommodating helped me through a very ruff time the only thing better than the service was the bear

I had to stop for a bite to eat and a coffee before making the long trek home. The bartender was extremely helpful and the patrons welcoming. I chose lambs fry and bacon with mash from the $10 Sunday meal menu. It was fresh and full of flavor. It's not good etiquette to lick the plate but i was also supplied with a slice of fresh bread and butter. The coffe went down a treat too. I would have given it 5 stars except for the fact that I was hoping for the roast pork but it was all gone. Never mind. Next time maybe.
