Ritchies IGA Mount Waverley

My favourite supermarket. Big enough to have everything you need, at good prices. Small enough to have great customer service. Really good health food ranges, and stock a lot of my favourite Aussie products that can’t be found in the bigger chains.

Excellent range of products for a supermarket and customer service is a high quality. At the very least the staff are experienced and knowledgeable. Love them!

This place is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. There are some product brands which you will not find anywhere else. Their range and quality of meat and fruit are one of the best for a supermarket however do come at a higher price compared to other supermarkets.

Great shopping experience

Well stocked IGA for the wealthy demographic, nice lunch options like Sushi and Bento boxes. Good selection of YouFoodz and gourmet brands.

Good place for fresh vegetables and fruits.

Fresh fruit n veg, friendly helpful staff, can advertise on a board which is good, very local to other shops which is handy! Sometimes certain items (ie primo savaloys and avocados) are excessively priced.

Cons - Some stock well past their use-by-date (rice, cheese sauce, 2-minute noodles etc). In these COVID times it's not nice to see full bins by the self-checkout machines in the morning (they're obviously not emptied overnight). Pros - Really friendly and helpful staff. Wide range of products not found elsewhere. Fewer discounted items than Woolworths and Coles but their own Black & Gold brand is good value.
