Are you opened on Easter Sunday 2019

Can you park a motorbike close by? If so, where?

Is ramen only available on lunchtime?

Is street parking available? Thanks

I tried both the the Light and the Darkness ramen and honestly it fell a little short of my expectation. Not to say it was bad, but it wasn't as fancy as the name suggests, and the price is a little bit on the premium side. The place has a cool motorbike workshop theme though, which I do appreciate. Overall it was pretty alright.

The Rising Sun Workshop is a super cool space with friendly staff. Open from 0800 the menu options steer away from the traditional breakfast items and other up their interpretation of what breakfast / brunch is. The all day menu and after midday menu is also inspired. We had the kimchi udon, fried Korean cauliflower, karaage chicken and the two taco options. Everything we ate was fantastic. The fried cauliflower and the karaage chicken are something else for sure, so so tasty. The udon has a good kick to it, definitely can feel the spice. I can’t wait to go back to try the ramen dishes which are served up after midday. There are tables downstairs by the workshop and also upstairs. There is 2hr ticketed parking outside which makes it super handy as Newtown is notoriously difficult place to park.

Had some great service today despite being very busy. Hubby had the Darkness and was impressed by the egg and mushroom. I had the bacon burger which was slightly spoilt for me by being too saucy (my bad). I get why people like this breakfast burger. Our gyoza serve was one short as they’d run out but the whole dish was comped in the end. Very generous. We’ll be back!

Exceptional food and great customer service! I've been coming here for years and I've never had a bad feed. I appreciate that they mix it up for the locals by changing the menu seasonally too.

My long awaited brunch experience here did not fail to deliver. With a mix of Asian fusion options, this cafe, tucked away in the heart of Newtown, served unique flavours that makes me want to come back for more. We specifically came at around 11am on a Saturday which was relatively busy but not too crowded. We chose the breakfast ramen and the dipping udon dish, and both were amazing. Definitely keen to try something on the lunch menu (which starts at midday) the next time we come here.

Cool venue and very friendly staff. Had the chefs menu for dinner. Very tasty. Good wine selection. Was a bit noisy due to a few large groups.

Delicious and truly unique comfort food in an ambient bike workshop (unusual concept but, like the breakfast ramen, it really works!). Passionate about their wheels and their meals!

Delicious ramen! Tried the dark and light and both were amazing in distinct ways (dark is heavier and saltier as the name implies, light has a more ginger/shallot broth vibe). KFC (fried cauliflower) was epic - crispy with Korean bibimbap-esque hot sauce generously slathered on. The space is bright and hip, decorated with motorcycle paraphernalia and next to a workshop space where you can watch people tinker.
