Ricks Garage, this place really has put Palmwoods on the map! From the whisky bar upstairs to beer garden the place has it all and the burgers are to die for. If you're lucky enough to be around for the Time Warp festival they throw its an absolute must. They close the main street and its lined with every type of hot rod and old fashioned car you can imagine. There is too much to list with this place, a great stop for the bikes as well. Check it out people!

Easily one of the Sunshine Coasts premier destinations. Ricks Garage is a throw back to the American Diner of yesteryear. Whilst this is a diner/garage, this venue is better described as an experience and is suitable for all ages and people of any kind of background. Car enthusiasts certainly do form a major part of the clientele. And why wouldn’t they? Every kind of motor vehicle known to mankind features at this venue on a weekly basis. And the line-up of automobiles and motor-bikes constantly changes, which adds to the experience and surprise element. You can not leave without sampling a burger, milkshake or cold beer. It’s again part of the experience. The food is delivered on average inside 10mins which is crazy fast, and always consistent, always of a very high standard. The diner is divided into several parts, the whiskey bar (over 18’s only), the beer garden, the bar area, the retro room and the garage. Each has its own atmosphere, and provides a different experience. Live music always abounds on weekends from around noon, and Thursday nights features the open mic night with local Andrew Marshallsea. In all sincerity the place is genuinely more enjoyable than some of the high $ ticket venues on the coast. I actually don’t think you can suggest you’ve seen it all here on the coast till you’ve given this a go.

An unexpected visit for us, but one that ended up being a delightful experience. A happy place to visit. Welcoming and friendly staff. Wonderful theme of nostalgia and an very satisfying selection of food and drinks. A must do visit when you pass through Palmwoods.

Great spot to drop in for a coffee on the run. Got here aprox 1030am, and wasn't busy at all. Really cool motorama stuff and old Harley's and bit and bobs all over the place. Super awesome and friendly staff, place was clean, as were the bathrooms

We have dined here a few times now & everytime is Excellent. The quality & quantity of food & drinks is very satisfying even for those with the hugest of appetites. Service is super fast & accurate, friendly, helpful staff. The Burgers, crunchy chips & malty thick shakes are just... O M G... Sooo delishee! You will waddle back to your car like a Michelin man.. Full as a bull, however very fulfilled.. Thanks again everyone, see you again soon. Good music, rockin 50s 60s atmosphere. Highly recommend this place.

Delicious meals and lovely friendly down to earth staff. We had beef burger, chicken burger, kids cheeseburger, fries, wings. Very tasty! Love the little view down into the garage as well, very well thought out little space and you can see the love.

Went for a early 11am Sunday lunch, it was quiet, crazy fast service and freshly prepared food! I had the ricks works burger, it was nice but all the different flavors went under and it tasted just like a normal hamburger. My partner had the friend chicken burger, sad that every fried chicken burger has to be served with slaw, asked the waitress if the fried chicken could be served on the classic chicken burger but that wasn’t possible. It still tasted nice and he enjoyed his burger Hot tip, order the milkshake of the kids menu, we are never able to finish a full size shake
