Red Retro Cafe

RUDE, DISRESPECT AND PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE!!! Came in for a coffee at 0930 on Thursday the 15th of April 2021. My son has special dietry requirements so I had a small subway flat bread wrap in my hand I was feeding my 2 year old whilst having a coffee i purchased in their store. The older worker whom I believe is the cafe manager approached us without greeting us or anything stating "THIS ISN'T A BYO, YOU CAN'T BE EATING THAT IN HERE" then proceeded to show us the door. I stated "This is for my son, I am not eating it in here, I'm having a coffee which I purchased here at your shop" Shop manager continued to argue then walked away. We felt so shocked and uncomfortable that my wife walked out and I approached the store manager telling him how unacceptable that was. I stated that He could have mentioned it in another way especially considering i did not bring in food from another premises to consume in their store, PLUS no signs were placed mentioning what he just challenged us for. ZERO stars if I could and would encourage others to stay away from this money hungry, rude establishment.

Coffee is really lovely, and had a toasted sandwich today, which was super tasty! Prices are very well placed and not overpriced like some cafes. Great laid back ambience, very popular!

Really good barista coffee. Was very pleasantly surprised. Sweet little fairy garden outside and cute accessories for sale inside.

Been a few times and always busy. The coffee is great but always expect a 10-20 minute wait for a takeaway coffee.

Top spot. Loved the older style music. Sandwich was so fresh and the big bacon and cheese muffin was amazing. I also bought a few gifts from the gift section. A1. 💛👏
