72 Lake Street Northbridge 0, Perth
Coffee & cake is a treat in their little coffee shop within the store, great cakes made on the premises & shopping for all the gourmet products is a bonus. Never go away empty handed.
Nice selection of European items with great coffee bar♡♡
Always great fresh food at a very reasonable price. Very happy and friendly staff also.
Opened in 1936 by John and Maria Re, The Re Store was one of Perth's first continental food retailers. The Re Store's products, including freshly roasted brewed coffee, helped supply WA’s growing culturally diverse population, which was hungry for the foods they had enjoyed in their homelands. Still thriving in the same location on Lake Street and now part of an expanded food wholesaler, The Re Store has had a profound influence on the acceptance of multicultural cuisine and culture in WA.
Its a nice place and always seems busy, must be an absolute goldmine for the owner. But the prices are a little on the high side. Today went in to buy a Spuntino and they have now gone from $5.00 to $6.00, a 20% price increase, and for those that do not know a Spuntino is a very small roll with cheese and sliced meat. $6.00 is just plain greedy. Not going for lunch here anymore until the prices go back to being more realistic. Plenty of other options for lunch in the immediate area that are better value.
Great food and shopping place, but queueing up gets hectic
I could spend all day there 😍 one delicious thing after another 🍾🥂
Great coffee and the staff are always so friendly
Thanks a lot for waiting at the counter for 5 minutes and not being served. I guess 2pm is too late for shopping as cleaning the shop is more important.
Great coffee and cakes served by friendly and helpful staff
