Rare Steakhouse Uptown

I had the pleasure of dining at Rare Steakhouse Uptown last night with my parents and niece. I had booked it with both my fingers and toes crossed as my mother, whilst fabulous in all ways, is notoriously picky! The restaurant fitout and atmosphere is beautifully done. The staff were AMAZING!! Thanks James & team! The food - was fabulous. Oysters, pan seared scallops, soup, chicken, salad - we had it all.

Tucked away in a side street this is a nicely layed out setting with a number of virtual rooms . The sheaks were superb, with good sides , my 300g. Portahouse was $39 so mid range pricing , great for a business lunch and we didn't have to wait too long. I will.be back

Great venue, friendly staff and excellent food.

Traditional steakhouse with your usual cuts of meat. We had the Tomahawk steak for 2 ($130) which was a lot of delicious meat. Not evenly cooked though, ranging from blue to medium in different parts. The pork ribs were delicious, as were the sweet potato fries and onion rings. Service was friendly and attentive. Bookings essential, and plenty of seating.

Absolutely loved the steak here. Hands down best steak I've ever had. Definitely a must try for any steak fans. I had mine rare, and although It was pretty blue in the middle for my liking (it was a 400g eye fillet) I still loved it. Recommend the desserts too.

Make no mi-steak, there is a rare opportunity for this place to be 6/5 lasagnes

Delicious steak here AUS$40 for a set lunch with appetizer main course and a glass of wine.
