Rare Steakhouse Uptown

For many years I haven’t found a restaurant that is better than this one.

Excellent steaks and great relaxed vibe, not too loud

Took my work team out for dinner and we had a great meal at Rare Steakhouse Uptown! Friendly staff, meals were delicious, sticky date pudding is amazing and huge!! Service was excellent. Great atmosphere. One out of seven steaks was slightly over cooked so they took it back and cooked a fresh one, received complimentary steak and side as a result. Will definitely go back.

Our go to place for steak and a cocktail. Great decor, Awesome friendly service, steak, good wine list. Steak. And ribs are awesome. Steak.

Staff were lovely and accommodating with allowing us an earlier service time (Theatre Seating). We ended up getting there late and they were great about it. Food came out in good time. Steak was cooked as requested and was a beautiful cut. The mash was of good consistency and flavour, well done!

We had a lovely night at Rare Steakhouse Uptown. The service was attentive and friendly, our meals arrive promptly and everything was delicious. Lovely, comfortable surroundings, will definitely visit again.

Nice place for dinner. Entrees, mains and desserts were delicious. The only negative was the mushroom sauce which was a little too sweet. Fortunately, they have mustard available to go with the steaks. The crispy chicken wings entree are also amazing and are a must try!

Uptown is finally reopen! So glad to see this business back up and running after covid. As usual the steaks were just so tender, I never fail to have a bad experience here. Top notch staff, great wine options.

Delicious meal, perfectly cooked steak with creamy mash and crispy greens and the best crispy sweet potato chips… yummo!
