A Kingston institution for a reason. Food is great, and the service gives you a lovely warm family feeling.

Splendid. Visiting 2 or 3 times a week. Great service. Over half the customers are known by name. That says it all. Only improvement would be chopstick holders. A very minor gripe.

on my recent trip to Canberra we attended Portia's Food is fantastic, decor is awful which ads to the charm. go for the food and you wont be disappointed, a place that you comfortable with your wife, not on first date place.

One of the best and most consistent restaurants in all of Canberra. Have tried most things on the menu and nothing has been a disappointment.

Honestly all I can say is WHERE IS THE FLAVOUR??? Orderded 5 dishes and all extremely bland. Was tossing up between coming here and somewhere else. Should of spent my money elsewhere. Wont be coming back have had better food from a mall food court. Very dissapointed

Great food and friendly staff.

Very disappointing, felt very rushed from the moment we walked through the door, not very friendly at all especially from what looked to be the owner/manager? She just didn't seem to like that we were there, although greeting other customers very happily, not sure if it was because we had kids? Or maybe she could tell we weren't locals? Would not go back here again ever!!

What more could you ask from a Chinese restaurant. Good food at a great price and friendly staff. The deco is a bit worn but somehow I find such places more relaxing when you're a local. Take away orders are super fast too!
