Port Admiral Hotel

Just had lunch at the Port Admiral with some friends, really friendly staff, food was quick to come out (kids were prioritised). The food was amazing everyone was very impressed. Apologies for incomplete food shot, it was so tasty I got stuck in before the photo :) Will definitely be back. Great coeliac options too (& vego)

Great food. Recommend booking in case it is busy. Beautiful old style bar in the main room and a large outdoor curbside seating area

Okay now this is an underrated place in The Port. Such a chill and funky vibe, lovely interior with artwork and open kitchen in part of the dining area. Spectacular menu, will definitely be back to try more! Food was absolutely delicious, I had the “KFC Burger” and shared the Fried Cauliflower and Asian Greens with my family - also super delicious. 500kg T-Bone was cooked to perfection. Barramundi was cooked perfect and the 2 burgers were delicious - dipping sauce needed for chips though. Friendly, welcoming staff. A must visit!!

Was once a great establishment…had some good meals, played a couple of good shows there but once Kat left, it was all downhill…. Good times

Stopped by the new hotel for lunch. Nicely fitted out new establishment. Great service. Very friendly staff. Loved the menu. I had the 500g rump steak with 3 sides. It was cooked to perfection and went down a treat with blue cheese sauce. Washed it down with 2 draft pirate life pints. The kids meals were enormous for $8. Highly recommended.

Great staff, attention to detail. Renovated and bursting with style.Very small inside dinning area. Trendy twist on the old pub menu. Busy dinning room. Worth a visit.

PORT ADMIRAL HOTEL My wife and I have been wanting to check this place out since it reopened. Heard really great things and was hoping it would deliver, and that it did I reserved a table “this morning” on their online booking system. Made a custom request to be positioned in the sun. They called me shortly after to confirm my booking ✅. We arrived on time and noticed a card on a table with my name and the umbrella down, had to be for me 🌞. We went halves in the beef schnitzel with a side of leafy greens with sauce and dressing on the side with an extra plate ✅. Drink of choice was of course the port local brewed by locals 🏴‍☠️ pirate life 🏴‍☠️. The staff were amazing, food was delicious and quick, plates and cutlery were spotless and the vibe was there. Upstairs they have balcony seating and a pool room with its own bar ( free pool Sunday 1400-1800 ) we are keen to get some friends and experience this Sunday session. Outside is a beer garden which also looked very inviting. Overall first experience was definitely a positive one ✅

Outstanding service, good menu, steaks cooked perfectly on the flame grill (loved the slaw), and very chilled atmosphere even with kids. 👍

Food was good. Atmosphere not bad. Need air condition in the dining area ner the kitchen. It will be unbearable in summer in that area with the wood fire pumping out all that heat. But overall enjoyable meal.
