Loved the Italian hospitality vibes at Pizzateca. The dough on the pizza was out of this world. It’s got a great reputation / reviews for a reason - the food is great!

Pizzas are really nice and they came out very quick. We were told they only need 1 minute in the oven! Only downside is they are very pricey for what you get. Pizzas are mostly in the high $20s and whilst they taste nice, they mostly lack ingredients on top.

Very very busy but staff were great and meals didn't take long at all. Pizzas were nice but atmosphere was a bit "production line", not relaxing a bit conscious of time slot. Lovely location

We have tried to book over the phone and online when we are only 20 minutes away. They had multiple bookings and both online and over the phone we were told there would be a $50 booking verification on our credit card to confirm the booking when it was less than an hour away and they weren't fully booked anyway? We love your pizza and have had it multiple times at the fringe but we definitely won't be back because customer service is so important.

Bloody incredible. Possibly the best pizza in the state. Vibrant atmosphere, friendly staff, yummy drinks. Would definitely recommend. My only complaint is the $50 pp fee for cancellation when you book online. Seems a bit steep! But the place is amazing!

Neat cosy casual restaurant in McLaren Vale, charming place and tasty pizzas. Busy and bustling but service was good. Fun place to grab a bite with a group of friends.

Very tasty authentic Italian pizza with friendly service and great atmosphere

Not really a place for winter dining. It has lots of gas heaters dotted around the place but still very cold. I wanted to swap out one topping for another but was charged extra. I ordered a gluten free base and to be honest it was micro thin and very sloppy in the centre. The staff were lovely but I won't rush back there. $50 for a pizza and a drink! Sheesh!

Amazing pizza, each pizza had its own delightful flavours and palette. Pizza sauce, dough and crust are some of the best around. The place has a modern and trendy visual aesthetic, traditional pizza ovens, very friendly staff who check in at perfect intervals. Delicious home made limoncello to top off a perfect meal.

The pizza is really good. But it’s really hot to sit there. I’ll recommend choose the cooler day to go.
