I must say the service I have had in this restaurant is one of the best in Sydney. Staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. Plus their food is excellent which makes your experience more comfortable and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this to all the people in their neighbourhood and others visiting the same.
Best selection of healthy salads and eats in the east. Unbeatable for authentic Israeli food.
Taste of the food okay, unfortunately was given 2 tiny chicken Schwarma pieces in a whole piece of bread which makes it hard to justify the price..
Addicted to their falafel pitas - salads are top tier, generous portion sizes and excellent latkes. Such a positive family environment and business.
Can't beat a good falafel bowl from this place. Absolutely delicious. Staff are super friendly as well !
Great food. Great people. Period. I don't really leave reviews but the food is second to none. I have been to the middle east, and saying it's authentic is an understatement. Its quality food, served by people who are also middle eastern and theyre lovely to have a good old chat with who have a great sense of humour.
A rare restaurant sitting in plain sight that serves authentic Israeli cuisine. Heaps of options for all taste buds - from mild dishes to spicy, from vegetarian falafels to meaty shwarmas. They have three dine in variants - indoor booth style seating, large outdoor pergola in the backyard and also Mediterranean alfresco tables out the front. This eatery is suitable for a dinner for two, a feed with friends, or a large party. They do heaps of take-away and are also on the apps for delivery to your door. Servers and staff give great service, and are especially accomodating for walk-ins, even during peak times. The Israeli pickles are definitely a winner! Look for a starter or main with Israeli pickles. :) This is a family friendly place, your kids will love it too!
We went due to the 4.5 star rating. We ordered dips, and two 'off the grill' items: barramundi (mash and salad) and Scotch fillet with rice and salad. The pita and dips were excellent. However the 'grilled' fish was bad - very bad. The fish tasted watery. Like it was thrown frozen on to a grill. It was not crispy on the outside and not well cooked inside. The salad tasted like (literally) pre-packaged supermarket salad thrown on a plate. No dressing, slightly wilted and no favour. The mash was ok - just. I was appalled as fish is not that hard to make and the dish cost $30. The steak was ok, but not great and that cost $38. On service: the waitress was super nice. But the food also took ages to come out, although the place was quite empty (about 2pm). We got no cutlery, serviettes, or salt/pepper, which the fish needed badly. Also, the doors were open so the whole time we were shooing three or four flies buzzing around our food/drinks. Summary: Perhaps other things on the menu are better, but the stuff we had was so average, with the fish bordering on inedible. I don't mind paying, but I do expect some standard of quality.
Great food. Great staff. Great atmosphere. Definitely coming back!
ordered edamame beans and got sent Broccoli. Ordered Roast vegetables, 2 pieces of zucchini and the rest pumpkin. Like ordering a steak and getting sausage
